Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or buy from us, why we collect it, and how we protect it. Last updated: 19 October 2026.
Who we are
This website, CCHoldings.eu, is operated by CC TRADING (LONDON) LIMITED (company no. 08599049), 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU ("CC Holdings", "we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact privacy@ccholdings.eu.
What we collect
Account and order details: your username, name, email address, telephone number and delivery address, the products you buy, the prices you lock and your order history.
Payment details: the amount, currency, date and reference of your bank transfer, and the name, bank and account number or IBAN of the account it came from, as shown on our bank statement. We never ask for your online banking passwords or card details.
Sale requests: when you ask to sell metal to us, your name, email address, telephone number and country, and the items you want to sell. We use them to handle your request, and keep them under the same rule as order records (see below).
Identity checks: for orders that require them by law and for every sale of metal to us, a copy of your identity document, proof of address, information on the source of your funds or of the items, and a signed declaration.
Security data: the time, device and network (IP) address of each sign-in and account change, which we use to protect your account and alert you to changes.
Technical data: your IP address, browser type and pages visited, kept in server logs for security.
Preferences stored in your own browser: your basket, chosen currency, delivery country and colour scheme. These stay on your device.
Why we use it
To process and deliver your order; to handle your request to sell metal to us and pay you for it; to match your bank transfer to your order; to meet our legal duties, including anti-money-laundering checks, VAT and accounting records; to prevent fraud; to answer your questions; and, if you have agreed, to send you updates. Our legal bases under the UK GDPR, the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection are performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent, as applicable.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with: our bank, our identity verification provider, our couriers and insurers, our accountants and IT and hosting providers, and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Order, sale-request, payment and identity records are kept for at least ten years after the end of our business relationship, as anti-money-laundering, tax and accounting laws require. Other information is kept only as long as we need it for the purposes above.
Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy. Some records must be kept by law even if you ask us to delete them. To make a request, contact privacy@ccholdings.eu. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or the authority in your EU country.
Security
Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, identity documents are encrypted, and every sign-in and change to your details is emailed to you. No system is completely secure, so please contact us at once if you think your account or order has been compromised.
