Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every order placed on this website and to every sale of precious metal to us. Please read them before you buy or sell. Last updated: 19 October 2026.
1. About us
This website, CCHoldings.eu, is operated by CC TRADING (LONDON) LIMITED (company no. 08599049), registered in England and Wales, registered office 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. You can contact us through our contact page or at sales@ccholdings.eu.
2. Prices
Prices are based on the live spot price of the metal plus a stated premium, shown in pounds sterling, euros, US dollars, Swiss francs, Canadian dollars or UAE dirhams. Because metal prices and exchange rates move constantly, the prices shown on the site change throughout the day.
When you lock a price at checkout, we hold it for 10 minutes. Your order is placed, at that price, when you confirm it within those 10 minutes.
3. VAT
VAT for deliveries to the United Kingdom and the European Union is added at checkout at the rate of your delivery country, and is shown on its own line in your basket, on your pro-forma invoice and on your invoice. Prices on the site already include it, so the total in your basket is the total you pay. Investment gold is exempt from VAT; silver, platinum and palladium are subject to VAT.
We do not charge UK or EU VAT on deliveries to Switzerland, the United States, Canada or the United Arab Emirates, as these are exports. These orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duties or local sales taxes, which are payable by you on delivery.
4. Payment
You pay by bank transfer in the currency of your order: SEPA for euros, UK Faster Payments for pounds sterling, a domestic transfer for Swiss francs, or SWIFT for US dollars, Canadian dollars, UAE dirhams and other international payments. The bank details and your payment reference are shown when you place your order and on your pro-forma invoice.
Payment must reach us within 2 days of placing your order, for the exact amount and from an account in your own name. Please quote your order number as the payment reference. Any bank charges are paid by you.
If your payment does not arrive in time, we may cancel the order. If the market price has fallen in the meantime, we may charge you the difference between your locked price and the price at which we can resell the metal. If you pay a different amount, we will contact you before we go ahead, and we refund any overpayment.
5. Identity checks
We are required by law to check the identity of some customers, for example when purchases reach €5,000 within 12 months, or where we have reason to. We may delay or cancel an order until the checks are complete, and we may refuse an order where the law requires it.
6. Cancellations
Because the price of precious metals depends on fluctuations in the financial markets that we cannot control, the 14-day right to cancel that applies to many online purchases in the UK and the EU does not apply to bullion orders. Once you have confirmed an order at a locked price, it cannot be cancelled.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the United Kingdom, the member states of the European Union, Switzerland, the United States, Canada and the United Arab Emirates. Orders are sent by insured courier, chosen according to the destination (for example UPS, DHL, Royal Mail or FedEx), and need a signature on delivery. Ownership and risk pass to you on delivery. Delivery times are estimates; we will tell you about any delay.
8. Products and images
Our range covers gold, platinum and palladium coins and bars of up to 1 oz each, and silver of up to 1 kg. Product images are for illustration. The year of issue, design details and packaging of the coin or bar you receive may differ from the image, but its metal, weight and fineness will match the description.
9. Selling to us
You can offer gold, silver, platinum and palladium coins and bars for sale to us through our Sell to us page. Proof and numismatic coins and jewellery are not bought through that page. We charge no fees or commission.
Our price is 97% of the live spot value of the fine metal content of your items. The price is fixed when we confirm it to you by email, normally within one working day of your request. We may decline any request.
You must send the items within 5 working days of our confirmation, insured, at your own cost and risk, quoting the reference in our email.
When the items arrive, we weigh, measure and test them using non-destructive methods. If they differ from your request, or arrive after those 5 working days, we will offer you a new price; if you do not accept it, we return the items insured, at your cost.
We pay by bank transfer, only to an account in your own name, within one working day of checking the items. Before we pay, we verify your identity, as anti-money-laundering rules require for every seller. By sending items to us, you confirm that you own them and are entitled to sell them.
10. Liability and law
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
